About Operations Services
BHP Operations Services delivers industry leading mining services across BHP operations Australia-wide with specialist capabilities in load and haul, fixed plant maintenance and mobile maintenance.
About the Role
Opportunities are currently available for competent and experienced skilled production operators positions across our Olympic Dam site.
We are particularly interested in individuals who have a proven track record in safely and efficiently operating machinery within the production sector.
Seeking individuals that have experience in:
- Excavator - Liebherr R9350
- Loader - CAT 992, 993
- Grader - CAT 14M, 16M
- Road Train - Scania R620 Belly Dumper
- Water Truck - CAT 773
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- Confident in operating any of the equipment listed;
- A safe operator who is both dedicated and enthusiastic about your job;
- A strong desire to learn and to develop a range of new skills and equipment;
- Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure;
- A teamwork mentality to achieve results;
- Effective listener with well-developed interpersonal skills;
- Competent and possess comprehensive reading and writing skills.
