Acclaimed Workforce is recruiting vintage casuals for Treasury Wine Estates Barossa Winery (formerly Bilyara Winery) located at Nuriootpa in the iconic Barossa Valley and has the following positions available for the 2026 Vintage.
Vintage Laboratory Technicians
These positions will involve performing a range of routine analysis on grape, juice and wine samples. You will be able to run and maintain all laboratory equipment as well as keep sound calibration and data records, whilst upholding the highest level of quality control. All training on the job will be provided.
During the vintage period, the winery will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the positions requiring weekend and shift work up to 6 x 8 hour shifts with the potential to work up to 12 hours per day.
Desirable skills
• A minimum year 12 Chemistry or a related science field
• Relevant laboratory environment preferred
• Knowledge of wine making process advantageous
• Competence with computer packages including MS Office suite
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with some of the most admired and desired wines in the world. All successful candidates will be subjected to a pre- employment medical, this includes drug and alcohol testing.
