We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to act as the Second-in-Command (2IC) to lead the rollout of our annual marketing campaigns. This role will oversee two team members, guiding them to lead their own campaigns end to end, and work closely with creative and digital agencies to deliver impactful, results-driven campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Local Area Marketing (LAM) or franchisee environments and be confident managing budgets, reporting on campaign performance, and driving strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of annual marketing campaigns in alignment with business objectives.
Mentor a LAM Specialist and Digital Marketing Executive, ensuring effective delivery of marketing activities and guiding them to lead their own campaigns end to end.
Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI tracking.
Collaborate with external creative and digital agencies to develop and implement campaign assets.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Drive Local Area Marketing (LAM) initiatives, supporting franchisees or local teams with tailored marketing solutions.
Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
Support the National Marketing Manager with strategic planning and departmental leadership.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in an Assistant Marketing Manager or senior marketing role.
Strong understanding of LAM and/or franchisee marketing environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with creative and digital agencies.
Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign reporting and performance tracking.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience in franchise or multi-location business models.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
