Overview
Two temporary full time positions commencing 27 January 2026 until 17 December 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach Religious Education/HSIE. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.
Essential Selection Criteria
* Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
* Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
* Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
* Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Religious Education/HSIE.
* Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
* Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.
Desirable Selection Criteria
* Ability to teach from Year 7 to Year 10
General Capabilities
* Well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong organisational skills.
Qualifications
* Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area(s).
* Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
* The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.
Working with Children Clearance
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
