Job details
As a Café Assistant Front of House at GOTAFE, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive great service, preparing high quality beverages, and assisting with food preparation. You'll be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, managing front-of-house operations, and contributing to the smooth running of the café. This role is ideal for someone with barista experience and a can-do attitude to providing exceptional service.
As the successful candidate you will have:
* A qualification in hospitality or relevant experience in the café or food and beverage industry.
* Barista experience, with a passion for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages.
* Knowledge of food safety standards.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.
* A collaborative approach, with a focus on being a team player and contributing to a positive work environment.
* A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
* A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
* A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
* A current Driver's Licence (Car).
