Clinical Coach | Clinician WA

Join to apply for the Clinical Coach | Clinician WA role at Connect Hearing Australia .

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team in Western Australia as a Clinical Coach | Clinician. This role partners with the State Sales and Operations Manager WA and our National Clinical Excellence Manager to lift the performance of the clinical team across our WA clinics. You will be providing ongoing direct support to our Clinicians through coaching, education and training programs, driving continuous improvement and outstanding client outcomes. The role requires travel to clinics across the WA region.

This is a permanent full‑time position, 5 days per week, working in a Clinical Coach Capacity 3 days per week and as Clinician 2 days per week.


What will you be doing?

* Providing support, guidance and coaching to Clinicians, ensuring clinical excellence, compliance and optimal outcomes for our clinics.
* Providing input into and conducting the Connect Hearing Clinical Induction Program.
* Managing local Clinical Teleconferences.
* Building and maintaining relationships with Professional Bodies, educational institutions and Hearing Aid Manufacturers.
* Representing Connect Hearing at internal and external meetings with key stakeholders as required.
* Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests.
* Reporting results of assessments and tests in writing and making referrals to medical practitioners.
* Recommending solutions to those with hearing impairment including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions and assistive listening devices and providing aural rehabilitation programs.
* Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as a part of overall treatment.
* Assisting with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
* Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease.


What do you need to be successful in this role?

* University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
* Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
* Current QP number or eligibility to obtain one.
* Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
* Previous experience developing and delivering training.
* Previous coaching experience, with ability to influence behaviour change highly regarded.
* Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience.
* Well‑developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
* Proven ability to achieve KPI's.
* Strong communication skills.
* Good team working ability.
* Commitment to continued professional development.
* Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
