We are a dynamic team consisting of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), data engineers, and data scientists. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the entire CI/CD pipeline.
The key duties of the position include:
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Build, manage and optimise containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
* Write and maintain scripts in Python to automate various DevOps tasks
* Utilise GitHub Actions to streamline the development and deployment processes
* Collaborate with SREs, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
* Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly
* Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications
* Document processes and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Education, Qualification and Experience Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role.
* Proven expertise in managing containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes.
* Strong programming skills in Python.
* Experience with GitHub Actions for automating workflows.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
* Experience working within air-gapped environments.
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
* Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
