Associate Professor / Professor of Education Data and Evidence
Operating within the Institute for Learning Sciences & Teacher Education, the Associate Professor / Professor of Education Data and Evidence will be accountable to the Director of ILSTE and work in close collaboration with the NSE and other academic and professional staff across the university.
The role requires leading and contributing to the Institute's research and engagement profiles. Responsibilities include producing high‐quality research, providing research leadership, attracting HDR students and competitive grants, and delivering research‐based teaching as needed. The Professor will work with industry, government and other stakeholders to grow partnership opportunities and engagement on key issues such as data, evidence and technology, including GenAI. Additionally, the role involves strategically developing and promoting ILSTE and the Faculty of Education and Arts in alignment with the University's Mission and Strategic Plans.

* Collaborate with industry, government and other stakeholders to expand partnership opportunities.
* Strategically develop and promote ILSTE and the Faculty of Education and Arts.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Preferred candidates will complete mandatory pre‐employment declarations and background checks, including those related to gender‐based violence and foreign interference, in line with ACU's compliance requirements.
* The position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) (ACT only).
Benefits
* Total remuneration for Associate Professor (Academic Level D) valued to $202,272 – $222,654 prorata per annum, including a salary component of $171,352 – $188,772 prorata per annum.
* Total remuneration for Academic Level E Increment1 valued to $260,037 prorata per annum, including a salary component of $220,723 prorata per annum.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed‐term staff.
* Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary prorata, payable depending on commencement date.
* Flexible work arrangements, study leave, a variety of leave provisions and salary packaging.
* Full‐time, continuing role available at Brisbane, North Sydney, Strathfield or Melbourne campus with some hybrid flexibility.
