This includes executing planned and scheduled work as well as breakdown repairs to enhance equipment availability and reliability. Our rosters are designed to help you balance your work and personal life.Reporting to the Superintendent and working in a unique environment within the Iron Ore Company of Canada, you will be:Ensuring team members work safely and follow all safety standards and practicesParticipating actively in IOC's safety program and modeling appropriate safety behaviors (safety observations, group safety talks, inspections, investigations, etc.)Providing leadership in team building, planning, and establishing measures focused on safety, results, and customer satisfaction. Arranging training, reviewing performance, and addressing grievances at the primary levelSupervising, coordinating, and monitoring scheduled work and emergency repairs, prioritizing tasks based on work and equipment availabilityCollaborating with the maintenance planner to ensure work scope is accurate and providing feedback on completed work, rescheduling, parts, and materialsProviding excellent customer service and promoting continuous improvement by working with customers and team members to resolve issues and improve maintenance productivity and qualityProviding timely data entry into various information systems (work orders, employee details, reports, etc.)Fostering a positive employee relations environment within the departmentPlease note: Fly-in-fly-out arrangements are not available.
