About the Role
As a senior designer, you will be responsible for creating customer-centric product ranges that drive business results. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and interpret global and market trends, and develop designs that meet commercial and aesthetic requirements.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Conduct thorough research to identify key trends and colour palettes, and translate this information into design concepts that add value through sales.
* Present trend forecasts with supporting data to inform design decisions.
* Maintain a keen eye for commercial trends and an understanding of what can be produced at volume.
* Collaborate with the merchandise team to create product ranges that reflect the brand's unique identity.
* Negotiate product outcomes with key stakeholders.
* Design desirable and affordable products that align with the brand's values.
Key Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in fashion design, graphic design, or a related field is essential.
* You should have at least 5 years of experience in designing for a fast-paced retail environment.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software is required, as well as advanced use of other relevant tools.
* You should have a strong understanding of print types and limitations, and be able to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
