Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning
The Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture of our College.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and review teaching and learning programs to ensure academic excellence.
* Drive innovative pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment practices to enhance student outcomes.
* Support staff in building capacity through professional learning, coaching, and mentoring.
* Lead and guide Heads of Learning and other academic leaders in driving the College's vision for learning.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
* Collaborate with the Leadership Team to strategically plan for future growth and success.
Selection Criteria:
* Proven ability to lead, inspire, and mentor academic leaders and teaching staff.
* Demonstrated success in building teacher capacity through mentoring, coaching, and collaborative practice.
* Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and reporting frameworks.
* Thorough understanding of curriculum, senior school pathways, and timetabling.
* Experience with EDVAL and timetabling an advantage.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Evidence of strategic thinking, innovation, and leading school improvement.
* Relevant qualifications in education with leadership accreditation.
