GetCareers is currently recruiting for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to undertake a Carpentry Apprenticeship with an established and reputable local business in the Perth Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time opportunity to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Carpentry.
About the Role
As a Carpentry Apprentice, duties may include:
* Assist in planning and constructing timber frameworks, floors, roofs, and ceilings
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials
* Help install timber floors, doors, windows, and other fittings
* Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
* Support the creation of timber components and structures for new builds and renovations
* Follow safety procedures and work alongside experienced carpenters on-site
What We're Looking For
* Physically fit and enjoys working both indoors and outdoors
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to learning a trade
* Works well as part of a team and follows instructions
* A Manual Driver's Licence is essential
* A White Card is essential
* Willingness to complete the apprenticeship while working full time
Eligibility Criteria
* Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Must reside in the Southern suburbs of the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
* Women are strongly encouraged to apply
* 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentices are also encouraged to apply
