About the Role
The Senior Learning Designer manages the strategic design and development of a comprehensive portfolio of high-quality teaching and learning products that align with the UTS Strategy and approach to teaching. This role involves negotiating with faculty management, providing expert learning advice to UTS teaching and learning initiatives and UTS senior leaders and teaching staff. The incumbent leads and mentors a dedicated team of learning design professionals.
About You
As the Senior Learning Designer, you will have:
1. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of learning design professionals, creating positive team culture and aligning practice with Portfolio and University strategy
2. In-depth knowledge of contemporary learning design principles and practices
3. Proficiency in the use of educational technologies and tools to enhance teaching and learning and understanding of Generative AI and data tools in teaching and learning contexts
4. Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards in educational content development
5. Proven experience in collaborating with faculty, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders
Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $120,827 - $147,678 (HEW 8/9)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
The team work on a hybrid working arrangement and are on campus 3-days a week and otherwise when required.
