Senior / Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Building Services

We're partnering with a well‐established Australian building services consultancy, growing their Sydney electrical team due to a strong and stable project pipeline.
This is a hands‐on delivery role, ideal for an Intermediate or Senior Engineer who wants ownership, technical depth and long‐term career progression without sales targets or corporate politics.
The role
You'll take ownership of electrical design delivery across commercial and mixed‐use projects, from early concept through to construction.
This is a technical, project‐focused position with real input into design outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Lead electrical building services design from concept to construction documentation
* Prepare and review calculations, reports and technical documentation
* Coordinate with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and external consultants
* Liaise directly with clients, architects and project stakeholders
* Support and mentor junior engineers
* Attend site meetings and support delivery during construction
* Ensure designs meet Australian standards and NCC requirements
About you
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Proven experience in building services consulting
* Strong background delivering commercial building projects
* NER (National Engineering Register) – essential
* Solid knowledge of Australian standards and local regulations
* Revit / BIM experience is preferred
* Technically confident and comfortable taking ownership
