What you will do in the role
Summary
* This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end processes associated with all aspects of warehousing.
Primary
* This role requires you to be "On Call" outside of normal business hours. One week on, one week off rotating roster.
* All aspects of warehouse receiving and dispatching of goods
* Picking, packing, and processing orders
* RF scanning
* Palletising of freight
* General warehouse duties
* Receiving stock, checking correct items and quantities
* Quarantining of shortages or damages
* Receipting stock into the SAP system and Dispatch deliveries out to client
* Reverse Logistics - Processing returns and booking couriers to collect goods
* Ensure stock gets put away in correct bin locations provided in warehouse
* Action all email requests in a timely and professional manner
* Provide support to the wider logistics team on all escalations and requests
* Coordinate stock counts across all client locations within your local environment
* Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and in accordance with client set SLA's
* Maintain an attitude that inspires self-improvement and success within the team
* Be able to work well in a small team environment
What you will need to succeed in the role
* Heavy lifting is required
* A current forklift licence is required
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Able to work well in a team as well as autonomously
* Demonstrated intermediate level of communication skills - including written, verbal (including telephone)
* Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Must always maintain a neat and tidy appearance
* Provide a high level of customer service to all incoming enquiries received
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High level of initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility
* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
* Demonstrates self-confidence and decisiveness
* Basic - Intermediate SAP preferred
* WMS / ERP systems experience preferred
* Current First Aid Certificate preferred
