About The Role:
The ideal candidate will be passionate about human rights and creating positive change. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans, advocate for customer rights, and promote independence. Your empathetic and resilient nature will enable you to build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities,
Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development,
Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support,
Support community participation and recreational activities,
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans,
Advocate for customer rights and promote independence,
Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs
What You'll Need:
A passion for human rights and creating positive change,
An empathetic, compassionate, and resilient nature,
Excellent communication and teamwork skills,
Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain),
Current First Aid, CPR, Driver's licence & NDIS Worker check (or willingness to obtain),
Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts including days, sleep overs, weekends & public holidays
