Our mission is to shine a light on the astonishing art of learning disabled and neurodivergent people.
About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and organised Finance Officer to support our financial operations and ensure compliance with legislative and organisational standards. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while contributing to a creative and inclusive workplace.
A portion of the hours can be worked from home each fortnight
Key Responsibilities
* Process fortnightly payroll, leave entitlements, superannuation, and salary packaging
* Assist with PAYG summaries and tax reconciliation
* Enter payments, invoices, and bank transactions
* Support monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
* Follow up on unpaid invoices
* Process accounts payable and cash banking
* General administrative duties including filing and occasional reception support
* Profit/loss reporting
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Experience with MYOB and Microsoft Office
* Payroll processing experience
* Understanding of the SCHADS Award
* Qualifications or experience in bookkeeping/accounting
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Current driver's licence
Desirable:
* Experience in the NDIS or not-for-profit sector
* Familiarity with Deputy rostering software
* Understanding of the Social Model of Disability
