Renowned for delivering exceptional haircare and styling services, the salon offers a wide range of treatments including precision haircuts, professional colouring, hair extensions, straightening, and expert blow-drying.
With a strong reputation for excellence and personalised attention, Relief Hair & Beauty provides every client with a premium salon experience in a welcoming and modern environment. Our client is now seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join their vibrant and professional team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about high-quality hair services and committed to helping clients look and feel their absolute best.
* Position: Hairdresser
* Salary: $77,000 plus Superannuation
* Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, must be available to work on weekends.
Primary Responsibilities
* Consult with clients to understand their haircare goals and recommend suitable treatments or styles
* Perform high-quality haircuts for women, men, and children, using scissors, clippers, and razors
* Style hair using blow-dryers, straighteners, curling tools, and other salon equipment
* Apply colouring treatments including foils, tints, balayage, and toners
* Perform chemical treatments including straightening, relaxing, and perming
* Maintain salon hygiene and safety standards at all times
* Recommend and promote professional salon products and aftercare advice to clients
* Stay updated with the latest hair trends and techniques
* Support and mentor junior team members or apprentices when required
Key Skills and Attributes
* Certificate III or higher in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
* Minimum one year of full-time experience in a salon environment
* Expertise in modern cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Professional, punctual, and well-presented
* Full working rights within Australia are mandatory
