Bid Support Specialist
About the Role
* We are seeking a Bid Support Specialist to join our Rail Operations hub in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit specialising in the delivery of all aspects of Rail. This role involves working closely with a dynamic team to develop high-quality Rail and Infrastructure proposals.
This role requires providing high-quality writing and editing services to support the development of Rail and Infrastructure proposals. The ideal candidate will capture strong value propositions; develop bid themes; guide strategic direction of the submission; preparation and distribution of workshop agendas and high-quality strategy output documents.
The successful candidate will also facilitate Organisation Charts & CV Workshops: challenge, guide and capture team structure; develop org chart and CVs; preparation and distribution of workshop agendas and high-quality workshop output documents. They will also facilitate Reviews to critique and improve the quality of submissions, preparation and distribution of review agendas and high-quality output documents.
In addition, the candidate will coach and train Bid Leaders and Bid Teams in preparation for client presentations and alliance workshops. They will manage process and administration for internal de-briefs of successful and unsuccessful bids. Managing process and administration for client de-briefs and improving Bid Process is also required.
Maintaining the Bid Portal content including; taking ownership of the accuracy of the material; timely additions following submissions is also part of the role.
About You
* Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications or Journalism is required.
* Previous experience and understanding of the construction and engineering sectors is desirable.
* Possess experience in a professional service, construction, engineering, or high-volume document management environment is essential.
* Keen eye for attention to detail in proofing and formatting is necessary.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure is essential.
* Ability to multi-task and demonstrate initiative coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills is also required.
