We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Major Projects team and support Council’s largest project ever undertaken.
What You’ll Do:
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will work in consultation with the Principal Project Manager, to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Cairns Water Security Stage 1 (CWSS1) project. You will be responsible for planning and managing technical sub-projects, ensuring their timely completion, and driving project outcomes while collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
* Relevant experience and/or qualifications in Project Management or related fields; or working towards a relevant course of study; relevant experience in scheduling and contracts management.
* Comprehensive ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve project & corporate objectives.
* Demonstrated knowledge, application and understanding of relevant Standards and Legislation.
* Demonstrated construction contract management experience.
* Well-developed written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write detailed technical reports.
