We are looking for Practice Nurses to join our Jupiter Health family at :
* Piara Waters Medical Centre
Experience is preferred but not essential.
Role includes but is not limited to:
* Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments, chronic disease management
* Adult and Childhood immunisations.
* Daily coordination of the treatment room: stock control/ordering, sterilisation, general maintenance of medical instruments and equipment.
* Patient education.
* Implementing and practicing infection control.
* Management of recall and reminder systems
* Assistance in minor procedures (skin biopsies, excisions, contraception procedures, iron infusions)
* Mole Mapping
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
* Current AHPRA registration.
* Enrolled Nurse (EN) qualification is acceptable for this position.
* National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain
* WA immunisation certificate or willingness to obtain as soon as possible.
* CPR certificate
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A caring and holistic approach to patient care.
* Time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Best Practice software.
