We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Business Partner Lead to join our team and play a key role in shaping Council's digital future
What You Will Do
As the ICT Business Partner Lead, you will lead a talented team of ICT professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and service-first delivery. Your expertise in fostering collaboration between the business and I&TS teams is crucial in ensuring that technology solutions are relevant, effective, and deliver tangible value. By influencing, guiding and coaching others, you will help elevate digital capabilities across the organisation and ensure we are meeting the needs of our stakeholders now and into the future.
You will also play a critical role building relationships specific to tactics, in fostering strong, collaborative business relationship partnerships across all levels of Council. You will focus on the tactics required to achieve the strategic focus, prioritising alignment of technology and I&TS digital initiatives with overarching business goals and strategies, from identifying opportunities through to implementation, adopting a business-led IT approach that drives efficiency, performance, and community value.
What We Are Looking For
* Previous people management, supervision and leadership experience, with proven evidence of successfully leading a high-performing team to exceed targets and deliver on strategic and tactical outcomes.
* Extensive experience leading and delivering on IT complex programs and tactical workstreams.
* Excellent interpersonal, persuasive influencing and stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation.
* Significant demonstrated IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) experience in the delivery of specialist advice translating business needs into technical realities.
* Tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications in Information Management, Information Technology (IT), Business Analysis or Project Management related discipline.
* Ability to understanding business processes and activities including I&TS touchpoints and growing tactical and strategic view of services and value.
