Global Medics is partnering with a large Local Health District in Current South Wales to recruit a Consultant Child and Adolescent Community Psychiatrist for a permanent position. Responsibilities
* Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychiatric services to patients
* Promotes patient safety and quality of care
* Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers
* Works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the LHD Essential Selection Criteria
Qualifications
* Coming from the UK – Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom.
* Other Countries – Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent; holds a substantially comparable outcome of RANZCA assessment.
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
