Commencement rate: $49.45.
* 3‑month post commencement: $51.55
* 9‑month post commencement: $53.66
* Annual 5% rate increases in July 2026, July 2027, and July 2028.
* Rate increases are subject to capability and performance reviews.
Rate difference backdated to start date.
9‑day fortnight.

Do you want to work in the most advanced shipyard in the world building the most complex Anti‑Submarine Warfare Frigate? If so, we have multiple opportunities for welders within the Production Team based in Osborne, SA.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on‑the‑job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About You
* Trade qualifications.
* Experience fabrication with MIG or flux core welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time‑keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.
Clearances
As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
