Are you an ICU Registered Nurse looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking enthusiastic and clinically experienced nurses who are passionate about patient care to join the ICU team.
The Intensive Care Unit offers a full range of intensive care services to all patients, including:
* invasive monitoring
* mechanical ventilation support
* renal replacement therapy (dialysis)
* advanced cardio-vascular support
* point-of-care coagulation testing
* tracheostomy insertion and management
As a Registered Nurse – ICU, your responsibilities will include:
* Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
* Demonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
* Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students
* Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
* Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum
* Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes

About You
* a current Registration with AHPRA or In-Principle approval.
* Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in a local ICU
* Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
* Excellent ability to work independently and as a team
* Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Desirable)
