POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking OOSH Educators and Assistants to join the teams at several of our successful and well-established services across the Maitland region.

These opportunities will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.

You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.

As an OOSH Educator / Assistant, you will be responsible for:

* Supervising children's play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour
* Assisting in developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children's independence, social skills, learning, and development.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

* Tech-Savvy Storyteller: Confident using digital tools to document learning journeys and celebrate children's growth.
* Positive Energy: You bring a fun, professional, and reliable attitude to everything you do.
* Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute meaningfully to a supportive team culture.
* Great Communicator: You connect easily with children, families, and colleagues, building trust and strong relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Certificate III in Children's Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards an early childhood or Primary Teaching qualification
* Working with Children Check verification number
* Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
