The Role

As an Account Director | Talent, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day delivery of talent-led campaigns and partnerships across a portfolio of key clients. You are responsible for owning client relationships, shaping integrated talent strategies, and leading internal teams to deliver high-quality, commercially sound work.

This role sits at the intersection of client management, talent strategy, and execution, requiring strong judgement, confidence, and the ability to think end-to-end across campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Account Ownership

* Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the senior day-to-day contact and trusted advisor
* Build strong, long-term client relationships grounded in confidence, clarity, and delivery
* Understand client objectives deeply and translate them into effective talent-led strategies
* Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and solutions across campaigns and retainers
* Own account health, including scope management, timelines, and commercial outcomes

Talent Strategy & Campaign Delivery

* Lead the development and delivery of talent-led campaigns, partnerships, and always-on programs
* Oversee talent selection, negotiation approach, and partnership structures in collaboration with the Talent team
* Ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, creatively strong, and executed with attention to detail
* Balance creative ambition with budget discipline and contractual compliance
* Ensure all work reflects Hello's integrated approach across social, content, PR, and media

Team Leadership & Development

* Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers and Senior Account Managers within the team
* Set clear expectations and provide guidance to support growth, confidence, and capability
* Ensure teams understand the bigger picture and the value of their contribution
* Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Commercial & Operational Excellence

* Maintain oversight of budgets, forecasts, and billing in partnership with Finance
* Ensure accurate scoping, fee and rate card management, and resourcing across accounts
* Anticipate workload demands and plan proactively to avoid pressure points
* Uphold Hello's standards across process, communication, and delivery

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in an Account Director (or Senior Account Manager ready to step up) role within an agency environment
* Strong experience working with talent, creators, influencers, or partnerships
* Confidence leading senior clients and complex campaigns
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
* A collaborative leader who brings calm, clarity, and momentum to teams
