Offer description

The Opportunity

Join a vibrant academic community committed to excellence in professional psychology education as Lecturer (Education Focused), contributing to postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. This role is central to shaping future clinical practitioners through high-quality teaching, curriculum coordination and assessment that build both general and specialist competencies. Working within a supportive team of experienced educators and researchers, you will help deliver training grounded in evidence-based practice and community impact.

This position will design and deliver engaging, inclusive teaching that promotes deep learning and professional growth. You will support students to develop the knowledge, skills and reflective capacity essential for effective clinical practice, while ensuring assessment and feedback are consistent, fair and meaningful. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to course innovation and strengthen the connection between academic learning and professional application, aligned with industry and registration standards.

We are seeking a candidate with a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology and registration with endorsement through the Psychology Board of Australia. You will bring demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, a commitment to curriculum development and the ability to inspire students through evidence-informed and interactive learning. Success in this role will rely on strong interpersonal and organisational skills, along with a collaborative and student-focused approach.

If you are passionate about advancing clinical education and contributing to the development of future practitioners, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated and collegial academic team.
