About the Role Are you an experienced Contracts Administrator with a background in residential and townhouse construction? As the Housing Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of residential and townhouse developments. You'll work closely with internal development and construction teams, as well as external contractors and suppliers, to ensure the accurate management of project documentation, contracts, budgets, and variations. Key Responsibilities Manage the ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) phase, including pricing of projects Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes in coordination with Development Managers Format and upload estimates into construction management software (e.g., Viewpoint) Attend project sites and manage variation processes Prepare detailed job cost reports and track project savings and overruns Coordinate building permits, occupancy certificates, and all authority documentation Maintain up-to-date subcontractor records, including insurance and WHS compliance Handle post-construction client maintenance requests within the 90-day defects period About You Proven experience in a Contracts Administrator or Draftsperson role Background in residential housing, townhouse, or commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction documentation, permits, and compliance processes Highly skilled in interpreting construction plans and identifying design issues Competency in using construction management and estimating software Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills Trade qualifications or a relevant degree (Architecture, Construction Management, etc.) preferred What's on Offer Broad exposure across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases Supportive team culture and long-term career development prospects Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience About the Company With over 36 years of experience, our client has been building homes that connect and strengthen communities.
