Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead the retail operations of our General Store and Petrol Station at Discovery Parks – Wilpena Pound. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a small team in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the General Store and Petrol Station
* Lead, train, and support a small retail team
* Manage inventory levels, ordering, and merchandise presentation
* Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience
* Monitor and analyse sales performance and reporting
* Maximise profitability through effective financial and cost management
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar role
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Highly developed guest service skills
* Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale systems
* Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure
* Strong computer literacy, particularly within the MS Office suite
* Excellent people and relationship-building skills
Qualifications
* First Aid Certificate
* Current Driver's Licence
* Working with Children Check
