Responsibilities
* Keep the Wheels Turning: Lead your team in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
* Master of Maintenance: Execute maintenance activities that align with the asset strategy and keep operations on track.
* Plan for the Future: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create medium and long-term plans that drive efficiency and innovation.
* Stay Ahead of the Game: Anticipate maintenance needs and help schedule them to avoid disruptions and keep the factory humming .
* Scheduling Pro: Work hand-in-hand with the planning team to map out work packages and create a realistic, efficient schedule.
* Data Detective: Dive into historical and real-time data to spot opportunities for improvement and boost equipment reliability.
* Team Strategist: Partner with the Reliability Manager and Engineers to develop future factory and capital plans that drive success.
* Problem-Solving Pro: Be the go-to person for EIC issues, effectively communicating solutions and taking charge when challenges arise.
The Successful Candidate
We are seeking an individual with strong safety values, leadership skills, and solid stakeholder engagement capabilities. You will have a highly structured approach and a keen attention to detail. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical trade, along with a minimum of 5 years in a technical role within a heavy industrial environment. Post trade electrical qualifications, Experience in the sugar industry, proficiency in using SAP are favourable but not essential.
