We do this by providing health care and support to individuals and communities in times of need, and by actively working with our partners to address the social and environmental determinants of health.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Creative Arts Therapist at Gateway Health, you will support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people under 18, along with their families and carers, through the use of creative modalities such as music, drama and art. 
You will deliver a mix of individual and group therapy sessions, both open and closed, tailored to meet each child's unique therapeutic goals.This is a recent role in our organisation, which means that you will have the opportunity to shape this new service and truly make this role yours.Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll contribute to the shared goal of improving outcomes for rural children, including those with ADHD, Autism and learning differences, across the Albury/Wodonga region.ABOUT YOUYou are a passionate and experienced Creative Arts Therapist dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.To be successful in this position, you will bring:A Master's degree in Art Therapy and/or Music Therapy, with current registration through ANZACATA or AMTA.At least four years of experience delivering creative therapies to children and young people under 18, ideally within a trauma-informed, child-led framework.A deep understanding of inclusive practice and a commitment to supporting children from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those living with disability.If you're ready to combine creativity with evidence-based practice to support the wellbeing of children in rural communities, we'd love to hear from you.REMUNERATIONAllied Health Professionals Victoria Community Health Centres Multi Employer Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026Classification – APH1 Grade 2GATEWAY HEALTH CULTUREGateway Health promotes a learning culture that encourages innovation and initiative and recognises our staff as our greatest asset.
