About the Role
Working autonomously once trained, you will install a range of commercial flooring and safety products across Tier 1–3 projects in Education, Aviation, Transport, Public Spaces, and Recreation.
This role is hands-on and requires strong technical ability, accuracy in measurement and cutting, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of commercial entry matting systems, including carpet and hybrid aluminium/carpet matting products.
Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSIs)
Stair nosings and safety flooring components
In-ground and surface-mounted bollards, bicycle racks, and other carpark accessories
Matwell creation, subfloor preparation, screeding, and surface levelling
Accurate on-site measurement, setout, and liaison with client site teams
Ensuring all work meets relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements
Highly Regarded Skills
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
Construction White Card
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in the building, flooring, or civil construction industries
Ability to read plans and complete accurate setouts
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen (if required)
What You Need
A valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
A Construction Induction card (White Card).
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the civil or building industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Two contactable work references.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (if required).
