Responsibilities
Completes daily forklift safety checklist.
Operates electric forklift and electric pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise.
Ensure delivery vehicles are secured and safe.
Transfers merchandise fromdelivery vehicles to receiving dock.
Completes receiving process, including qty, quality, and food safety checks.
Use of IT systems.
Reviews invoicing of received goods.
Moves pallets of merchandisein and out of the steel.
Removes empty pallets from the sales floor.
Outdoor work required in pallet yard.
Maintains safety and organisation of receiving dock.
Takes direction from receiving manager, department manager, duty manager and supervisors.
Wrap and tag pallets securely andaccurately.
Assists with stocking when required.
Clears sales floor of debris.
Provides prompt and courteous member/customer service.
Helps members to load large items in their cart and vehicles, directs members to products and information needed.
Stocking Merchandise on the floor.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks
Assists with front end duties as necessary.
Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Qualifications
Do you have current forklift experience?
Do you hold a current forklift license?
Are you energetic and hard working?
Are you reliable and timely?
Do you have high-reach standing forklift experience?
Are you looking for guaranteed 24 hours a week with great rates and employee benefits?
Do you have stock handling and/or receiving experience?
Relative and recent experience in forklift operation is required.
