- Lead and develop plans and strategies at a variety of scales to mitigate the impact of bushfire within Tasmania. Provide complex operational and technical support to TFS staff and other stakeholders, and carry out fire management and suppression activities.**Hours per fortnight**:

**Essential Requirements**:
**Pre-Employment Checks**
- Arson and fire setting;
- Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.
**Desirable Requirements**:
- A qualification in an area relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken.
- A fireground supervision qualification.
- A current driver's licence.
