Albury Wodonga Health's Cancer Service is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our growing team. Albury Wodonga Health - Cancer Services requires a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team based at Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre. The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 - utilises expert clinical skills to support the delivery of patient care within the Albury Wodonga Health Service. As a lead clinician they will provide an expert clinical service to support the delivery of excellent patient/client care, as well as play a role in health promotion and prevention. This role also includes providing advice and education to patients, carers and AWH Hospital staff.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:

* Acts as a specialist in the field of cancer services clinical practice, providing education, mentorship and clinical advice at an expert level to staff across the Health Service.
* Demonstrates a higher level of skill in clinical decision making in particular problem identification and solution analysis and interpretation of clinical data.
* Utilises evidence based best practice and research in clinical practice development and improvement of standards, utilising this knowledge to participate in the ongoing development, revision and implementation of policies and procedures within the Cancer Services team.

Employment Type: This is a Permanent Part-time position (0.6 FTE)
