Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor based in Perth to deliver short-term FIFO projects across WA, with Perth-based assignments between engagements. Projects may include shutdown works, civil construction, rail surveying, laser scanning, and drone operations.
This role suits a self-sufficient surveyor who is confident working directly with clients, performing calculations, completing site fieldwork, and preparing as-built reports.
Ad hoc projects range from a few days to 1–2 months depending on client needs, without the commitment of an ongoing roster. Between projects, you will contribute to a variety of Perth-based assignments.
Flexibility is supported and project dates can be tailored in consultation with Jurovich management. A competitive salary package is provided, with flexibility to support a strong work-life balance.

Responsibilities
Work directly with clients to understand project requirements and deadlines for deliverables
Reduce, compute, document and report survey data to stakeholders
Complete all site-based fieldwork to high standards
Work with Jurovich management to ensure projects are set up and organised suitably for the project requirements
Work between clients and Jurovich management to arrange ongoing scheduling of the job
Stay ahead of required calculations to ensure efficient ongoing site visits
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Surveying qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in surveying
Full Australian work rights required
Must be currently based in Perth, WA (or able to commute to our Como office)
Experience with Leica equipment and LISCAD/12d (preferred but not essential)
