The Position
* Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
* Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
* Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
* Fill in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
* Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performance
* Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
* Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Restaurant Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
* Responsible for food.
* Menu cost, menu planning and design: preferable
* Effective Head office & Front of House communication
* OH&S & HACCP management

Experience:
* Qualified Chef: at least 1 year (Preferred for Sous Chef)
* Have the experience to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
* Prefer a working background in a seafood restaurant (not essential)
PACKAGE OPTIONS
Full time position with weekly salary of $75k to $80k plus super plus and tips and free meals
