This position is responsible for contributing to the achievement of operational and strategic targets through the provision of a comprehensive maintenance planning service that ensures the integrity of plant & equipment. This position is a full‐time site‐based role on an 8 and 6 roster.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Enhance the capability of the company to consistently achieve production targets in alignment with legislative requirements by diligently applying and imparting knowledge & skills to maintenance personnel and contractors.
* Achieve optimal serviceability of plant & equipment by designing and following appropriate systems that monitor the condition of assets to ensure reliable operation in the most economical manner.
* Develop detailed maintenance plans for fixed plant assets including crushing, grinding, CIL, Thickening, Tailings, and associated NPI.
* Achieve operational and strategic objectives of the business by developing appropriate schedules of work & activities and plans using designated maintenance management systems to ensure reliable & serviceability of plant & equipment.
* Enhance departmental capability to achieve targets by developing effective working relationships with key operations and maintenance personnel to better understand and plan for required work, budget needs and labour requirements.
* Secure the integrity of maintenance plans by developing strong networks with Purchasing and Supply personnel to ensure the timely availability of parts and equipment as planned.
* Ensure planned shutdowns are delivered in accordance with approved plans through the application of technical knowledge, skills, and experience to develop robust, clearly defined schedules achievable within budgeted timeframes.
* Ensure sustainable and compliant operations by maintaining statutory registers and logbooks for registerable plant and equipment ensuring records are accurate, current, and auditable.
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
* Demonstrated commitment to safe systems of work and risk-based planning
* Trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant maintenance planning qualification
* C Class Drivers' Licence
* Minimum 5 years experience in mining operations with understanding of processing technologies and equipment
* Proven experience in maintenance planning within a fixed plant processing environment (gold processing preferred)
* Demonstrated level of in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office suite and Maintenance Management System
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Project or similar) and Maintenance Management Systems
* Strong working knowledge of PRONTO Xi or similar CMMS
