About Maggio's Italian Bakery & Pasticceria
Maggio's is a high-volume Italian bakery and patisserie producing a wide range of cakes, pastries, and desserts. We are looking for a Pastry Chef to work within our Petite Gâteaux & Entremets section, supporting the Senior Pastry Chef and contributing to daily production. The Petite Gâteaux & Entremets section, ensuring consistent quality, organisation, and efficiency.
This role is ideal for a pastry chef looking to build confidence, speed, and finishing skills in a professional production environment.
The Role
* Preparation and assembly of petite gâteaux and entremets
* Basic decoration and finishing under guidance
* Assisting with daily production prep lists
* Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
* Supporting senior staff during peak production periods
About You
* 2-3 years pastry experience in a bakery, patisserie, or restaurant
* Experience with mousse, sponge, inserts, glazing, or basic finishing
* Willing to learn and take direction
* Organised, reliable, and team-focused
* Able to work early mornings and weekends
