The team at Carole Park are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join their team.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy, verifying the condition of the items and raise any issues.Support warehouse coordinator/manager with any administrative dutiesEnsure all deliveries are properly documented, logged and safely stored in designated locations within the warehouse.Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.Prepare shipments for outbound delivery and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.Ensure colleagues adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
3+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distributionForklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferableStrong Computer Literacy - experience with ERP & inventory systems, excel, emailsA strong commitment to safety practicesTeam player with a positive attitudeWell organised with a proactive approachEager to learn with a growth mindsetEnergetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
