Role Description
This full-time Regional Support Manager role is based in Perth or Darwin, and offered on a hybrid basis, combining on-site work across services with some work-from-home flexibility. The Regional Support Manager will oversee a portfolio of services, providing operational leadership, coaching, and guidance to service managers to ensure high-quality, compliant, and sustainable service delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring performance and quality indicators, supporting budgeting and resource allocation, and implementing organizational policies and procedures. The role involves regular site visits, stakeholder engagement with families, community partners, and internal teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The Regional Support Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, support workforce development, and help embed the organization's values and frameworks into everyday practice.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, performance support, and the ability to build effective, inclusive teams.
* Experience in service or operations management within community services, children's services, education, or a related human services sector.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with families, community partners, and internal colleagues.
* Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing workloads across multiple sites, including experience with reporting, budgeting, and managing resources.
* Sound understanding of regulatory, quality, and safeguarding requirements relevant to community and/or children's services, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Highly developed communication skills, including clear written documentation, confident presentation of information, and constructive feedback delivery.
* Comfort with digital tools and systems used for scheduling, reporting, and communication, and willingness to learn new platforms as needed.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood education
* Ability to travel across Darwin, Katherine, Perth and Victoria up to 3 weeks per month for regular service visits and meetings, and to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
