About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Painter to join our small crew at Enhanced Painting and Decorating on the Sunshine Coast!
As an Apprentice Painter, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced team in delivering high-quality painting services to our residential and commercial clients.
If you are a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice looking for a change, looking to progress your skills and work with a great team, please get in touch.
If you are motivated and committed, and keen to start a new apprenticeship from scratch, we would also love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
* Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and cleaning
* Applying paints, stains, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Assisting with the set-up and clean-up of job sites
* Variety of work including residential and site work
* Completing on-the-job training and attending vocational classes to obtain your Painting qualifications.
* Get paid to learn a skilled trade
What we're looking for
* A strong interest in the painting trade
* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
* Must have own transport and license
