As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Services Manager to oversee our technical team and ensure high standards of service delivery, maintenance efficiency, and engineering leadership. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical team in delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fog security systems.
* Interpret and apply technical plans, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals in day-to-day service tasks.
* Supervise stock and tool usage, ensuring all equipment is compliant and operational.
* Provide hands-on repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., fog alarms, etc.).
* Offer technical support both in the field and workshop, resolving faults efficiently.
* Communicate clearly with clients during service visits, offering effective and professional support.
* Ensure all work complies with OH&S standards and applicable engineering regulations.
* Assist with training junior technicians and propose improvements to systems or servicing processes.
* Contribute to product development, feedback, and system improvement suggestions.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics preferred).
* Minimum 1 year of technical or field-based experience, including fog alarms, mechanical repairs, or electrical servicing.
* Certifications: White Card, Electrical Test & Tag, Forklift Licence.
* Alarm & Alarm system knowledge.
* Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and fault diagnosis.
* Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple tasks independently.
* Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
