About the role:
As Junior QSE Advisor (FIFO, 2:1) you will be responsible for the monitoring and delivery of our health, safety and environment program across blue chip projects for Tier One clients.
Australian work authorisation will be assessed on a case‐by‐case basis for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Reporting and advising on health, safety and environmental matters.
* Ongoing maintenance and development of our Integrated Management System.
* Working collaboratively with all employees to provide practical, logical support and advice.
* The coordination and facilitation of external audits (ISO, OFSC, NHVR, Client).
* Provide leadership and oversight of the Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems, ensuring alignment with AS 4801, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 across all demolition operations.
* Onboarding and induction of new employees.
* The development and implementation of project specific QSE documentation.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Working knowledge of construction workplace practices and resources sector.
* High level computer skills and systems minded.
* Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage people across all levels of the business.
* Proven ability to prioritise and make decisions independently and in a timely manner.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, deadline‐driven environment.
* A passionate and enthusiastic approach to safety.
