All Karratha-based roles offered are on a residential basis.ResponsibilitiesYara are seeking applications for their permanent full-time role of Maintenance Planner (EI). Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Planner (EI) plans and schedules the corrective, preventive and predictive electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities throughout the ammonia plant.The primary responsibilities include:Comply with the “Safe by Choice” initiative.Interact closely with the Maintenance Coordinator and Production Coordinator for manpower and resource allocation.Analyze job scope and prepare tasks.Attend and participate in weekly Gatekeeping and Planning meetings.Check and verify material stock availability and issue materials prior to planning tasks.Verify and assign task resources as required.Plan and arrange external resources as needed.Interact with other disciplines and functions – Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Contractors, etc.Ensure the realization of the goals for the specific discipline by planning and organizing all activities related to maintenance within the department.Quality assure the framework of laws and regulations, organizational policies, and performance criteria to ensure the quality of products, customer relations, process safety, environmental impact, labor relations, manufacturing costs, and budgets.Cooperate with maintenance coordinators, specialists/ reliability engineers for complex problems.Contribute to ensure implementation of safe work practices by maintenance team and contractors.Assist in preparation of maintenance KPI reports.Work closely with Production Coordinators for preparing current and future maintenance schedules.Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work systematically and composedly during normal operations, turnarounds, and emergency situations to meet business requirements.Coordinate and follow up on work progress to ensure targets are met, involving all stakeholders and participation of various disciplines/work groups as applicable.ProfileA Grade Electrical License is essentialMinimum 2 years previous experience as a plannerStrong SAP skills are essentialMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry (Petrochemical, Gas Processing or Oil Refining)TAFE/ CERT III or IV equivalent or Diploma, training in electrical engineering at level 4 and a wide experience within the working area.Intermediate/Advanced MS Office suite experience.Understanding of relevant industry statutory standards and regulations. Familiar with industry environmental standards and practices.Fluent English (verbal and written) is essential.Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
