I'm partnering with a leading construction organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator – Construction to join their Victorian team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the preparation of competitive bids for electrical and communications projects, working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
About the Role
In this role, you will take ownership of the tender process from start to finish, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You will review project documentation, identify variations, and translate client requirements into clear instructions for project teams.
You'll also manage stakeholder relationships and support smooth handover of successful tenders to delivery teams. Environmental sustainability and quality standards will form a key part of your decision‐making throughout the process.
What You'll Bring
* Extensive experience in electrical estimating within the contracting industry;
* Strong analytical skills for costings, budgets, and proposals;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
* Proven ability to manage multiple tenders with precision and attention to detail;
* Leadership and mentoring experience, with a collaborative, customer‐focused approach; and
* Adaptability and a proactive mindset in a fast‐paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Engineering or Project Management qualification (preferred);
* Open Electrical License (preferred);
* Valid Driver's License; and
* Demonstrated experience tendering electrical and communications projects.
