Executive Culinary Leader
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Culinary Leader to join our team at Wilpena Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, managing inventory, and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead the kitchen team, including training and performance development.* Plan and develop innovative menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients.* Oversee electronic purchasing, cost management, and HACCP compliance.* Prepare, organize, and deliver exceptional dishes with a high level of attention to detail.* Maintain strong communication with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. ----------------------------------- **About You:** To succeed in this role, you must have:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment.
2. Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience.
3. Strong experience in electronic purchasing and cost management.
4. A creative approach to menu planning and development.
5. Ability to work autonomously and lead a collaborative team.
6. Commitment to food hygiene and safety, with HACCP experience essential.
