Paediatric Speech Pathologist
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing quality Paediatric Speech Pathology services to patients aged 0-17 years.
The successful candidate will work closely with other health professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child. They will also contribute to the ongoing professional development of their colleagues through sharing knowledge and expertise.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with relevant software. A valid unrestricted driver's license for NSW/Australia is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Paediatric Speech Pathology services to patients in the FWLHD, including outreach to rural towns.
* Plan, advocate for and coordinate client care within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing expertise with colleagues.
* Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and families to improve outcomes.
* Knowledge of quality improvement processes.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with relevant software.
* Valid unrestricted driver's licence for NSW/Australia.
