Drive sales growth by acquiring new agent sales, maintaining strong relationships with existing agents, and supporting product promotion and technical service to achieve revenue targets in Queensland. This role may include travel to different parts of Queensland and Northern Territory, dependent on the assigned customer base.
Responsibilities:
* New Agent Sales Acquisition – Identify and secure new acrylic, synthetic grass, and playground agent sales in Queensland.
* Agent Relationship Management – Serve as the key point of contact for agent communications, maintaining strong relationships with existing agents.
* Sales Target Achievement – Establish and monitor agent product sales targets to ensure revenue goals are met.
* Product Promotion & Specification – Promote acrylic, and synthetic grass products to key specifiers to support agent sales.
* Technical Support – Provide technical service to acrylic agents in collaboration with R&D.
* Sales Performance Monitoring – Track agent performance and align with budgeted expectations alongside the State Manager.
* Marketing Input – Assist in identifying marketing needs for agent trading products in Queensland.
* Customer Support – Provide assistance to the customer service team when required (e.g. answering calls, data entry)
Who you are:
We seek a proven sales performer, who can make a natural connection with customers in the construction, installation, design industries. In addition to this, our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* Previous experience in a sales role preferred, with experience in synthetic grass or flooring industry advantageous
* Comfortable in both domains of sales (i.e. new business development & managing existing customers)
* We seek a self-starter who is able to operate both independently and a part of a team to maximise their success.
* A team player who is willing to help in other capacities (e.g. customer service) in this small team environment, where required.
* Comfortable spending up to a week away from home, to allow you to service regional locations.
* Available to attend meetings outside normal business hours
* Good understanding of budgeting and financial concepts
* A candidate who takes pride in providing quality service and always looking outside the box.
